Los Angeles River Semaphore consisted of a series of sculptures which functioned as markers, intended to illuminate discoveries made by architect Linda Kleine and artist Donna Williams.	Deborah Thomas’s self-guided Walking Meditation was marked by stenciled wooden markers laid along the entire path. Thomas incorporates photography in her paintings.	Fragments from poems were sewn onto fabric, which was then moistened to nourish potted trees placed along the walk by Nicholette Kominos. Selected literary sources evoked memories of family and loss. Kominos is a painter.
