Heather Hoggan is a craftsperson who has been working with gourds for many years. This cluster of “bottom-feeding” birds stood in the river bed, while a whimsical flock of penguins perched on the bank above them.	Joe Linton is active with Friends of the LA River, the LA County Bicycle Coalition, and the Bus Riders Union. His Activity Sheet handed out during the installation invited children to find various natural and man-made aspects of the River.
