Ralph's Shoe Repair is owned by Hakoup Mktchean. Ralph originally started the business -- after one month he got into a fight and went to jail where he sold the business to an Italian-- not named Ralph-- who sold it to a Korean, who sold it to an Armenian who sold it to Hakoup seventeen years ago. Hakoup used to have some Armenian customers from South Pasadena, but his last customer, a ninety eight year old lady died a few months ago. He aksed for the poem poster which was translated into Armernian.
