Nathaniel Cohen and Deborah Krall

Prisoners often are forced to identify themselves along racial, ideological, or religious lines. These subgroups are a way to survive in prison, and sometimes a form of redemption. Could these ideologies be another form of prison?
Nathaniel Cohen is fourteen years old. He attends Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies, and has shown at the Onyx Cafe in Hollywood. He hopes this installation will piss somebody off.
Deborah Krall, Nathaniel's mother, has a B.F.A. from California College of Arts and Crafts, and an M.F.A. from UCLA. She has shown her work at many venues in California, including the Riverside Art Museum, Irvine Art Center, Rose Cafe, Glendale College, Cal State LA, and Occidental College.
