Silvana Tei Kenney launched a beeswax boat filled with passion flowers and humming birds as symbol of joy and hope. The small craft also carried seed for local birds. Kenney is a sculptor and teacher of foreign languages.

Frogtown Beach Lane Barden’s municipal sign bore an aerial photograph of the viewer’s actual location. This photograph was digitally altered to envision the L.A.
