Mike Mollett and the L.A. Mudpeople also
entertained children and gave them objects made from found materials
along the walkways and banks. The Mudpeople have perfomed more than

There It Is: Take It were the few
words spoken by LA Water Department head William Mulholland,
as the first water gushed through the Los Angeles Aqueduct from the
Owens Valley. John Hawk recreates this sleight-of hand miracle
with his mysteriously suspended faucet. Hawk is a video artist and
musician.

Loaves and Fishes Suzanne Siegel
linked Mulholland fishing in the natural river to its present day industrial
site use such as the nearby Weber Bakery. Stenciled fish transformed
up the bank into slices of bread. Siegel is an assemblage artist
and teacher.
Thanks to Herb Siegel, Deborah Kashinsky, Agnes and
Giovanni of Weber's Bakery.
