THE ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION OF MEMBERS OF THE ARROYO ARTS COLLECTIVE April 16 May 19, 2002
Earth Alchemy features gallery hung work thematically linked to the Collectives concurrent installation project on the Los Angeles River, River Alchemy. Artists have submitted work which creatively refers to the environment or utilizes relevant materials (recycled or natural) in innovative, transformational ways. Patricia Watts, founder of ecoartspace, a non-profit arts organization dedicated to environmental awareness, served as juror; she is also education coordinator for the Topanga Creek Watershed. For questions regarding EARTH ALCHEMY or RIVER ALCHEMY or for further information about the Arroyo Arts Collective, e-mail us at info@arroyoartscollective.org or call 323 850-8566. |
