Resume

Carolyn Geneva Glasier is a member of the Arroyo Arts Collective and is a native Californian who grew up among animals and plowed fields in the then rural San Fernando Valley. As a child, her father took her to the San Fernando Mission for arts and crafts classes. The Mission system and all things Californian have continued to fascinate her and are reflected in her pursuit in art.

She has traveled and studied the folk arts of Mexico as well as extensive travel in Europe and she was a student at the University of Oslo, Norway.

She is a graduate of the U.C.L.A. graduate School.

She describes herself as a folk artist and pursues her art through 3-D forms. Bright colors and expressive figures are her trade mark.
